Rickenbacker 4001 Fireglo LEFT HANDED 1975 complete with Rickenbacker hardcase with a deluxe blue interior
What a great bass this is.
Its left handed and is a Ric 4001 manufacturing date of 1975
There are lots of close up pictures to look at.
The guitar has marks here and there and a little laquer check in places these can be see in in the pictures, the truss rods are fine, the neck is straight and has just been setup prior to advertising.
The electronics work perfectly, when we checked it over there was a small earthing problem that was easily fixed.
The frets show little signs of ware this we would expect from a guitar of this age. There is plenty of fret ware left, so you have no worries there.
On the back of the body at some point in history someone decided to put two round holes in the back, I haven't a clue why but also the holes have been professionally filled in again at some point but it still can be seen where they were. Also on the horn someone tried to put a strap lock hole in which has been filled
Overall this is a great looking bass for its age that sounds beautiful, for a truly vintage bass it looks and sounds great.
It comes complete with a Rickenbacker hard case with deluxe interior
The images have been slightly lightened so you can see the guitar, but the colour is normal Fireglo
